We had our monthly Chapter meeting on Sat. Oct. 10th, and a large group showed up despite the impending rain storm. The former 267 President stopped in to say hello, and the owner of our HQ - Team Powersports in Garner - also dropped in.
We had planned a very special Chapter ride to Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC to see the Airborne and Special Operation Museum on Saturday, but, with the rain, we voted to move it to Sunday the 11th.
The weather on Sunday was picture perfect, and we had a good sized group make the trip.
We took a series of scenic back roads down to Fayetteville, and, in doing so, got to practice our "u-turn" skills a few times. :)
The museum was absolutely spectacular, and houses items such as parts of the actual Blackhawk Down helicopter.
Afterwards, Brent took us to The Speedshop for a great lunch! This place was great!
